Obituary of Doris Marie Battams

(nee Larmer) Peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Tuesday January 27, 2015 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Bruce Battams for 57 years. Loving mother of Judy & Rick Connelly; Kevin & Bonnie; and Brian & Karen. Dear grandmother of Jeffrey, Jessica, Cody, Ashley, Stacy, Earl and great-grandmother of Ethan, Evan and Hayden. Dear sister of Murray (the late Eleanor) Larmer and the late Wally Larmer. Survived by her sister-in-law, Joan Larmer. Sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held at THE NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville on Thursday January 29, 2015 from 6-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday January 30, 2015 at 11 am. Interment Bowmanville Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to Memorial Hospital Foundation – Bowmanville or a Charity of your Choice. “Gone Fishing with Bruce in Heaven”
