Age 91 years Entered into his eternal home to be with his Heavenly Father on Saturday February 28, 2015 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Beloved husband & soulmate of Tetsje (nee Snyder) for 62 years. Dear father of Simon (Jenny), Helen (Dan) Murphy, Jack (Darlene) and Jenny (Jake) Teeninga. Loving Opa of Jeff, Aaron (Emily), Kyle, Seamus, Michael, Brendan, Michelle (Mike), Brian (Amberley), Elise (Sandy) and great-Opa of Hannah. Dear brother of Rinze, Ali, Akka, Syke and the late Anna and brother-in-law of Trudy Snyder, Corrie Snyder, Reink & Annie Snyder, Hennie Smit, Loes & Simon Pols, Riekela & Annie Snyder, Annie Kroondyk and John Steinstra. He will be missed by his many nieces & nephews both in Canada and in the Netherlands. Hains was actively involved at Durham Christian Homes and leaves behind his many friends. “To God be the Glory”
