Obituary of John Power Morton

Born October 19, 1927. Passed away quietly with family by his side at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre on October 8, 2010. Son of the late Stuart and Irma Morton. Beloved husband of Patsy (nee Moffat) and loving father to Nancy Flintoff (Gordon), Lorna Holmes (Byron), Paul Morton (Heather) and Penny Morton (Bill Tran). Sadly missed by his grandchildren; Ellen Slack (Scott), Mark Flintoff (Michelle), Todd Flintoff, Jill Holmes, Jane Clarke (Nathan), Joanne Holmes, Jessica Morton, David Morton, Carol Morton and his 2 great-grandchildren Drake Slack and Tyson Flintoff. Jack has enjoyed farming his entire life and owned & operated Morton’s Farm Supply in Maple Grove for 30 years. Jack and Patsy loved to travel and his special interest was old tractors. A Come and Go Reception will be held at the MAPLE GROVE UNITED CHURCH on Friday October 15, 2010 from 2-4pm.
