Obituary of Roger Lucien René

Age 89 years Peacefully passed away at home on Friday May 31, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Doris for 58 years. Loving father of Marcel & his wife, Linda; Cheryl & her husband, Norm Gervais; Elaine & her husband Alex René- Tambour; Rick & his wife, Pam; Kathy; Joan and Robb & his wife Jackie. He is survived by his 19 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Roger will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

Visitation will be held at the NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville, on Monday June 3, 2013 from 2-4 & 7 – 9 pm. Parish Prayers will be held at 6:45 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. JOSEPH’S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 127 Liberty St. S. on Tuesday June 4, 2013 at 10 am. Interment Bowmanville Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to Memorial Hospital Foundation- Bowmanville.
